Hoggaan Portal is the digital backbone of Hoggaan Travels — built inside a working agency, shaped by real seasons, and now ready for any agency that wants to run the same way.
From a back office to a full platform
Hoggaan Travels ran its Hajj and Umrah operations the way most agencies do: spreadsheets, paper folders, and long nights reconciling payments. Every season the volume grew, and every season the paperwork grew faster.
So we built our own system — module by module, season by season. Pilgrim records first, then bookings, then housing boards, flights, invoices and a full finance suite. Today the portal runs the entire agency, and every feature in it has survived a real season of use.
Four rules we never break
One record per pilgrim
A pilgrim's passport, bookings, payments and room are one story in one place — never re-typed, never contradictory.
Accuracy over paperwork
If the system can calculate it, a human shouldn't. Balances, totals and statuses are computed, not copied.
Teams work in their own language
English, Somali and Arabic are first-class citizens across the whole portal.
Money must always reconcile
Every dollar in or out is a transaction with a trail — from a pilgrim's deposit to the office's petty cash.
